URL consistency is an important part of technical SEO. I check whether different protocol, hostname, parameter or URL variations create unnecessary duplication or conflicting signals.
HTTP versions should normally redirect to the preferred HTTPS version when HTTPS is the site's intended canonical protocol.
The secure URL should be consistently referenced through internal links, canonical tags, sitemaps and redirects.
I can help establish whether the www hostname is the preferred version and make sure alternative hostnames redirect consistently.
Non-www and www are separate hostnames. The important issue is not which one is universally better, but that the preferred version is consistently implemented.
